REALASH Eyelash Enhancer – My Results After More Than 100 Days of Dedicated Use

It has been a while since I’ve had a moment to myself and the blog. Apologies for being AWOL.

Given this rare chance to peek out of my rabbit hole, I thought I’d use it as an opportunity to post an update on my personal lash growing experiment with REALASH along with some of final thoughts of what I think about this product after months of dedicated use.

My dedicated experiment began in November 2014

My dedicated experiment with this tube of REALASH began in November 2014…after almost 4 months of use, the lettering on the vial is starting to wear down.

If you’ve been reading this blog, you might remember that Realash was sent to me way back in October and, not being someone who wears fake lashes, I was really excited about the possibility of growing longer and thicker natural lashes.

I won’t repeat all the points I discussed in my previous posts about Realash but if you’re interested, you’re welcome to dip into my archives by clicking on each link below-:

REALASH Eyelash Enhancer Preview – Real Promises of Real Lashes? I’m in!

Then, I posted this review of the product after a month of daily applications…

REALASH Eyelash Enhancer – So, Did My Lashes Grow? Here Are The Results After 30 Days

A 3ml tube but lasts for months

A 3ml tube…but lasts for months and months

When I first received Realash, what surprised me the most was the fact that the serum comes in a really small tube that contains only 3ml of product.

Honestly, I didn’t expect it to last me more than 3 months but what do you know, it’s still going. According to Realash, there’s more than enough in each vial for 4-5 months of use and right they were!

So, while the product is expensive by fluid weight, a little goes a long way and one tube will last months and months.

Love the precision application brush!

Love the precision application brush!

It was also one beauty product I didn’t mind being dedicated to applying because it was a cinch to use. Realash is an easy, fuss-free transparent formula with no need to rinse-off. There was zero irritation from this product to the sensitive eye area.

Application was only once nightly as a quick swipe across the upper lash line before bed. I used Realash exclusively and not in conjunction with any other lash serum.

Realash warns against applying to the lower lash line and I don’t exactly know why but I suppose it might look weird to have very long lashes under the eye.

Notably, I was applying Realash nightly for 10 weeks but I was feeling that my lashes were getting so long they were hitting the insides of my glasses – really!

My lashes grew so much that I decided they were quite long enough to me so after Week 10 I began scaling back my applications to every third night.

This reduction of the dose is also what Realash advises over the long term as after around the 3 month mark, daily applications are no longer necessary and twice weekly applications are sufficient for maintaining lash length and lash health.

Anyway, I’m sure you’re interested in seeing the visuals of my dedicated trial with the Realash Eyelash Enhancer…

It really works!

It really works!

As you can see, this serum really works. I surprised myself when I saw that it doubled the length of my lashes in as soon as a month of daily applications. I even felt a difference to lash length after about a week but at such an early stage into the trial, I thought I was imagining things. Turns out, it wasn’t my imagination. The increase in length is very real.

What’s more, my lashes didn’t fall out much at all after I started applying Realash. It’s really quite awesome how my lashes feel not just longer but stronger too.

The length of my lashes was maintained in the months following and I felt that they were growing consistently too.

Nowadays, I can feel my lashes constantly brushing against the insides of my glasses and people around me have commented on how much longer they think my lashes are. After I apply mascara, the length is now really impressive.

That said, the photos in the results image above were taken without mascara or any other lash coating product to enable you to see the natural length and condition of my lashes before and post trial.

I’m really happy with the length that I have now and would recommend this product to anyone who suffers from sparse, short or weak lashes either as a natural condition, or even due to the overuse of fake lashes or mascaras.

The trick, however, is to be consistent with your nightly applications. I was very consistent with my nightly dose.

I’ve read the reviews of some other bloggers who have used this and posted their results.

Some results haven’t been as dramatic as what I experienced personally but I do believe it really does come down to consistency of application.

The bloggers that seemed to get a less effective result than I did admitted in their posts that they were applying the product inconsistently and only every other day at best.

My recommendation – buy it and really commit to using it DAILY for at least 3 months!

PRICE:

  • RM199/ 1 Vial  (4-5months of applications) + RM20 Shipping
  • RM349/ 2 vials + Free Shipping
  • RM479/ 3 Vials + Free Shipping

As you can see, the most economical package is the 3-vial set so it’s worth stocking up on Realash or roping in some friends for a joint order.

Certainly, it’s not cheap by any means but I’m so impressed with the results of this product that I think it warrants breaking the piggy bank if longer, stronger lashes are what you need or want.

  1. This is real awesome SG!!! Can’t believe you’re so dedicated in using it..and the result is perfect!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ Thanks for sharing! ^_^

  2. @JiaJia: Thanks, sweetie! I never thought I would stick to it but I did and it was worth it. I’m so pleased with the results. I really didn’t expect there to be a product out there that did this so quickly and safely.

  3. I tried another brand and it really works. It actually lengthens the time before your lashes drop off so they grow longer. However, have to use it continuously.

  4. @ Isabel: Before I tried this I didn’t really believe lash serums worked but yes, as you pointed out, they help the lashes stay strong and prevent fall out so they have time to grow longer but yes, dedicated application is a must. The results are worth the effort, don’t you think? I’m so glad someone invented lash serums.

  5. Your lashes evidently look much longer ! The gel did its part, but it wouldn’t be so miraculous if you had not be consistent…. I like the products you recommend coz they work ! like the diamond peel and this one 🙂

  6. @ KJ: Thank you for the vote of confidence. It’s good to hear that some of my recommendations have worked for you too.
I do try the products I review on this blog with what I hope is a critical eye and it’s not unusual for me to take months to trial a product so that I can familiarise myself with its functions and efficacy before I get around to writing a review on it.
The Realash serum is actually a clear fluid and not a gel and I think this consistency is better as it applies easily and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on the lash line at all – in fact it feels like nothing. I can say that it was worth the daily commitment, I do love my longer lash length very much!
