Top Online Beauty Shops with Free Worldwide Shipping [BBB #1]

I’m excited to share with you the first in a series of posts on this blog I’d like to call my Beauty Black Book [BBB] – a category of lists, recommendations, guides and reviews of my experiences related to online and bricks & mortar beauty shopping.

To get the ball rolling on my new series, I’m starting with my favourite list of all -:

~ Online Beauty Shops with FREE Worldwide Shipping ~

[ Beauty Black Book Series # 1]

FREESHIP

All things being equal, this is my favourite kind of online beauty shop because NO ONE wants to spend money on shipping when they can spend it on more beauty goodies.

Happy hauling, my lovelies…

LUXOLA

LUXOLA

LUXOLA

I”m tacking this beauty shop on last because technically it only ships REGIONALLY and shipping is only FREE for purchases above a certain amount (above RM40 for Free Shipping to Malaysia).

However, because I think they are quite the power seller and a growing force in online beauty trading for this Asia Pacific region, Luxola is somewhat too sacrosanct to leave out. If you live within their shipping region, it’s worth checking them out.

(Click here for delivery details)

SHIPPING: FREE Regional Shipping (inclusive of Malaysia!), Currently shipping only to – Australia, Brunei, HK, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, UAE. Minimum purchase conditions apply & vary between countries.

COUNTRY: Singapore

PROMOTIONS: First Order discounts of 15-20% Off with code – look for codes via blog affiliates, internet banner ads or sign up as a new member at the Luxola website, Free Samples, Gift-With-Purchase deals, 20-35% Off flash sales, promotions are held regularly, loyalty points program, points for reviews program…

By no means is this meant to be an exhaustive list of free shipping beauty shops on the internet.

I intend it to remain a Work-In-Progress which I plan to update or correct when and where necessary.

If you have any suggestions, additions or corrections to the list, please feel free to leave a comment in the relevant section of this post or email me and I’ll update accordingly.

Further to this, ‘Free Worldwide Shipping‘ may not mean the entire world but if a place ships to more than a handful of countries – then I consider that it makes the grade (albeit loosely). And naturally, being that this blog is based in Malaysia, I like to include a web shop if it ships free to Malaysia.

P.S. I’ve since had to amend the ‘Ships to Malaysia’ status on some of these sites – apparently, it’s still logistically unfeasible/ undesirable for some sites to offer shipping to this country 😦

Such a shame actually – we all know how much beauty-mad Malaysian girls spend on beauty products. Any shop not shipping to us is just missing out on a large share of the pie <sigh>. We can only hope that this situation changes in our favour with time.

A Note from the Blogger

When I first began online beauty shopping, I had to do it the hard way via hours and hours of scouring the internet in search of the best online beauty retailers. By far, one the most frustrating parts of online beauty shopping was trying to find that a beauty shop that would ship their goods to my shores at all. Nowadays, I’m more shop savvy and am always on the lookout for good prices and reasonable (preferably FREE!) shipping.

With the BBB series, I’m trying to create an easy look-up resource to help you bypass some of the frustration that dogged my first attempts at online beauty hauling. So, instead of spending all night Googling, you can get down to some serious beauty hauling instead. Enjoy!

  1. Hi dear 🙂 I actually have contacted Feelunique team last December and they said that they don’t ship to Malaysia (their fb page manager named Mark said that “Unfortunately we don’t ship orders to Malaysia as we haven’t found a secure postal route yet.”). When I saw this post, I tried to register an account on their website just now and they still don’t have Malaysia in the country list.

  2. @ Mieza, oh that’s too bad! They have some great brands. So much for international shipping – we are off the grid for FeelUnique then! I’ll adjust the post accordingly. Thanks for your feedback, dear!

  3. Hey hun, love the Beauty Black Box idea! I love to know where other people shop, (I’m nosy that way you see) and this is probably the best way to know where people get their shopping high from 😀

Its interesting to note though that you haven’t shopped at some of the stores. I’d definitely visit some of the sites that you have used before (which is actually the ones I use too lol!) Asos and Luxola particularly are some of my favourites, and I’m itching to try out Strawberry Net, but something about the site has always turned me off of it haha..

My favourites also include Hishop, you should give it a go, they aren’t too shabby 🙂 I have always loved buying off them.

I wanna see a part 2 off BBB, looking for forward to it ❤

  4. @ Shasha, thank you! Being a mammoth online shopper, I’ve long wanted to create a series like this as a resource for my own use too. There will be a BBB#2.

I assure you, it’s certainly for reasons of budget that I haven’t shopped at all of these web shops but I’m like a hawk and watch the goods and prices of products I am interested in across all of these sites. Honestly, there is no better way to spend a free afternoon than online window shopping.
I do agree about StrawberryNET…their site isn’t very attractive at all (any one notice the weird colour combos?!). Really, the poor choice of colours, outdated store design and and the general messiness of StrawberryNET is a big turn-off for me.

That said, I almost bought something rare and discontinued from StrawberryNET once until I realised I could get it for much less (despite the fact that shipping was extra) from a US eBay seller. The moral to this story is to avoid being blindsided by the concept of FREE shipping deals online but shop around – it just may well be that products from a site with shipping added at checkout may still work out to be cheaper than one which advertises free shipping as a perk. Some sellers may have covertly factored in a shipping cost onto the selling price of each item in their store to cover their delivery costs after all – sneaky but not illegal. To which end, consumers need to shop smart, shop around and buy at the price they personally deem acceptable in order to get more value for their buck.

  5. SG, this is perfect, just what the ‘online shopper’ in me absolutely needed. Have used ASOS loads of times and I love them,.. they’re efficient and pretty fast and when they’re on sale, they are absolutely amazing. As for the rest, will put them on my favorites bar and see where this leads to and echoing what Arpita said, ❤ ❤ ❤ this, though will have to see if my wallet feels the same way too.

  6. @ Sharon, Thanks, I’m pleased to to hear that this list will be useful to you too. I love shopping at ASOS for brands like Rimmel and Bourjois and you’re right, when ASOS is on sale, shopping there is very, very good.

  7. @ Lib: Thanks for informing! Sadly, FREE worldwide shipping can mean that Malaysia is not part of the ‘world’:(
Let’s hope this changes with time.

  8. Just NEED to tell you that this Beauty Black Box idea is brilliant! Thanks a bunch! May you forever be blessed with free beauty shipping! 🙂

Looking forward to any and all updates!

  9. @Ika: Thank you for your lovely feedback and amazing blessing 😉 Sure means a great deal to someone like me who does ship a lot lol
I hope to update with another post in this series as soon as I can.

  10. Hi there, I have a few products that you might be interested to display on your page. These are the beauty products that are certified and clinically proven from a renowned company. Most importantly, they brings you handsome profit. Do drop me a message or contact me at ********** if you would like to know more.

Thanks and have a nice day!

  11. @ Chloe Tan: Thank you for your kind offer but I don’t actually sell products from my blog or the blog’s social media pages. I use products or services purchased by me or in some cases, sent to me for review, and make recommendations based on my personal experience of the products/ services.

  12. Hey, I can totally vouch for LoveLula’s awesomeness 🙂 Been buying from them for more than 2 years now. Excellent customer service, they do good discount codes (their first order discount is pretty dang sweet!), their loyalty program is totally rewarding, and for us outside the UK, they do VAT free prices as well. Which I think is totally fair, since we are not really getting anything by paying the tax as we don’t live there. That’s like 16-17% off UK retail prices across all products, all year round! They have an extensive selection of products to boot. Website looks nice, but I wish they would put a ‘New In’ section, otherwise it’s definitely navigatable. Shipping to Malaysia takes approximately 14 calendar days which is really good I think.

I’m also recommending Naturisimo. They specialize in natural and organic products. Awesome brands, great sale section and GWP offers, i love their samples section, website is a definite joy to navigate, products information are constantly updated, they do 10% off codes pretty regularly, and that’s on top of their normally lower than retail prices (between 10 to sometimes 20% off certain items). The thing that really makes them stand out is the exceptional customer service. In one of my orders, one of the sample was somehow missing and emailed them, you know just to let them know, and they promptly sent out the sample using First Class mail. Totally was not expecting that, because my intention was to just let them know, since it was a free sample anyway. I salute them for their extraordinary customer service. You can tell they really appreciate you as customers. Shipping to Malaysia is exactly one week calendar days. That’s another thing I love about Naturisimo, I could somehow say with confidence that anything you order from them will get to you in one week, that’s how it’s been consistently for more than 2 years now.

I think you should put Being Content on the list as well. They have slightly smaller range of natural beauty products, but you can tell that the products they have are carefully selected and curated so you can rely on them for the quality of the prodcts. You can get some pretty hard to get brands there like Soapwalla and Odacite, a lot of their stuff are on the middle to higher end side (for me, anyways) but regardless, excellent customer service, they have quite frequent discount codes, love the clean look of their website, very informative, shipping is pretty speedy and they do VAT free prices as well 🙂

Can’t say enough good things about these websites. Will be their customer for life, I think 🙂

When I was overseas I used to shop from Feelunique regularly. As in every 2-3 weeks regularly. Definitely one of the best there is. Missing them terribly and I wish they would ship to Malaysia one day.

There is this website called Bathandunwind. I’m sorry to say that I can’t recommend them as much as I am with the others. Their customer service is exceptionally good, great selection but the prices! The prices are just killing me. Their UK prices are alright, but when you change your shipping destination of choice, they markup their prices like crazy! Sometimes 2£ more expensive for a 5-10£ item and that is per product. And with more expensive products you can imagine the price difference. Definitely not worth your money even with free shipping. They give you loyalty points, but definitely not enough to cover the difference in price, and not nearly as good as LoveLula’s.

  13. @ Nurul Ain: Thank you so much for your amazing comment. It was an absolute pleasure to read about all your own online shopping experiences with these beauty comnpanies. There is simply no better seal of approval than a satisfied customer who waxes lyrical about a company. I will definitely need to look into all these online beauty shops that you’ve mentioned and add them to the list. Thank you so, so much for your lovely recommendations. I want to give you a big virtual hug for taking the time to leave your comment *HUGS*. You’ve made my day!

  14. Hi there…I came across your blog and I saw that you’ve ordered stuffs from ASOS.
I placed my order on the 26/3/2015 and they stated that my order was shipped out on 29/03/2015 but unfortunately now its 5/5/2015 but I have not receive my orders. I did try to contact their customer care service but they were unable to give me any tracking number for me to track my order and asked me to just wait 😦

Did you encounter this kind of problem during your purchasing with ASOS? How long does it takes for your orders to arrive if you don’t mind I ask because it’s been too long already and I have not got my orders yet.

    Thanks.

    Abby xoxo

  15. @ Abby: Sorry to hear that your order from ASOS has not arrived but do keep in mind that there was an Easter break during your order period that might have caused some delay.
I’ve had luck with my ASOS orders but there was one occasion when an order had not arrived two weeks after the Estimated Delivery Date.
At that point I contacted ASOS Customer Service for a status update and they were extremely accommodating and helped me request another parcel to go through. Suprisingly, a couple of days after that, the original parcel did arrive so I contacted ASOS and asked them to cancel the re-order. It was a smooth process and ASOS’ service was fantastic all the way.
My advice is to try contacting them again with your concerns. I hope it works out well for you.

  16. Thanks so much for your humble reply. I did contacted them and I was beyond devastated when they told me that my parcel has got lost. 😦 But they will replace them with a new order and all cost to be borne by asos so I don’t have to pay another time. Thanks a lot for your reply and I do hope to get my parcel this time round.

P/S: love your blog! Very very useful and helpful for all the beauty junkies!

    xoxo
    Abby

  17. @ Abby: Oh, I’m so happy to hear that ASOS has sorted it out for you! Thank you for coming back and updating.
And, thank you to YOU for stopping by my little old blog and leaving me such an encouraging comment. I’m ever grateful!

  18. Hi.. Wanna share other shopping online.. Been using xtras.co.uk cos of brand w7 on the website.. There r other brands too. Free shipping n fast delivery process too 🙂
