What’s a girl to do when it’s a Sunday but she has to work and has a wedding to go to in the afternoon but there’s an Inglot Warehouse Sale on?
Make time between events for a haul that’s what. I had less than one hour to stop by at the sale but boy was I glad I did go. I had no regrets, the products and prices were great and I discovered a brand new love for the Polish brand, Inglot.
This is a mini post on the sale itself and I didn’t get to take as many pictures as I would have liked because of my own time constraints but I’m posting these to give you a little of idea of how great the Inglot Warehouse sale was.
The clearance was held in borrowed space at the SUB Beauty Academy on Level 8 at Berjaya Times Square and I went in the late afternoon on the second and final day of the sale and there was only a small handful of punters milling about and swatching the goods.
The stock floor was very small and probably no bigger than 200 sq feet in total but the stock range was very complete – there were eye shadows in abundance, eye liners, foundation and concealing products, brow colours, nail polishes, makeup pencils, plenty of lip colours and even a selection of flash lashes.
By the time I was checking out at the register, there was no one but me and the staff around and I was feeling pretty self-satisfied with how perfectly timed my visit was as I had anticipated hordes but *gasp* the sale was largely absent of shoppers and it was as if it was a VIP sale held just for me!! Bliss, a girl can get used to this sort of treatment!
Turns out this was not the case on Day 1 as I read online that it was a full house and any swatching was needing to be done in a frenzy of shopaholic madness.
To give you an idea of prices, Inglot at its usual RRP is apparently around 20% less than MAC but at this sale the prices were slashed from 20-70% off the RRP bringing the Inglot goods more into the region of Maybelline and Silky Girl. So yes, it was a steal!
To add to my joy, I made sure to bring along a Hong Leong bank credit card so I was able to get an extra 10% off my final bill.
I asked one of the Inglot staff why they were having a sale and it turns out that Inglot is discontinuing their Freedom Palettes for round colour pans and repackaging their palette system as square inserts so they were clearing out their circular pans.
This didn’t worry me because all the colour pans I hauled on the day will do fine to be organised in a standard Z-Palette or similar.
My passion on the day was for the lip colour pans and I picked up about 2 dozen of these for around RM7 each. I’m really happy with the high level of pigmentation of these colours and hope to do a review of these for you soon.
This was incidentally the first time I have ever swatched or purchased Inglot and I have to say that I am very impressed with the huge range of colours and level of pigmentation quality of these makeup products.
Did you get a chance to drop by at the Inglot Sale at SUB? If so, what did you think of the sale and what did you pick up?
This sale has certainly made me more excited about Inglot as a brand and I would love to visit an Inglot store one day soon to have a proper play of their full range.
